In room 7 we have been learning to write factual reports. This is my one.



Hedgehogs

Hedgehogs are mammals.

Hedgehogs are covered in about seven thousand spines on their back.They have grey brown belly fur.

Hedgehogs eat many different things like beetles,slugs,snails,earth worms and caterpillars.

Hedgehogs walk and crawl by using their strong legs.

Hedgehogs live anywhere such as hedges,branches,grass,compost bin and under piles of leaves.

Hedgehogs last up to two years in the wild and fourteen in a friendly garden.Baby hedgehogs are called hoglets.

Hedgehogs hibernate in the winter.
